After receiving a link to download XpandedReports, follow the instructions below.
- After download, click on XpandedReportsQuickBooksSetup.exe. Typical download location is the desktop.

Java: XpandedReports requires Java to operate. During the install, the setup
will check for the existence of Java 6 on your computer. If Java 6 is
not present, you will see the following message. The install process cannot move any further until Java is installed. Go to Java.com to download the newest release of Java.
- Admin Warning: A warning about admin privileges will be displayed. The account installing XpandedReports must have admin privileges to install correctly.
- Is XpandedReports running?: All instances of XpandedReports must be closed. This is extremely important for server environments.
- Welcome: A screen will come up and guide you through the install procedure.
- License: Read through the license agreement. If you accept these terms choose the option I accept the terms of the License Agreement and then click on the Next button.
- Choose Users: XpandedReports can be installed for everyone on Windows, or just the account that setup is running.
- Install Folder: This screen will ask you to choose where to install XpandedReports. The Default location is in the Program Files. Click Next.
- Process: XpandedReports will now install onto your computer. This may take several minutes. The following is that status screen that is displayed during the install process.
- The XpandedReports Installation is now completed. Click Finish to exit the install. Unless unchecked, XpandedReports will start.
