Is the trial version the same as the purchased version?

Yes. The trial is a fully-functional version of the software.

I tried to access XpandedReports but it says “ALL SEATS ARE CURRENTLY IN USE”. What do I do?

Anytime you get that message you can always log on via https://xpandedreportservices.com/account/index.php then at the top there is a button for installs and  on the far right is a column for “in use” so you can see which install XR thinks is using the program.

Is XpandedReports for QuickBooks required to use XpandedReports for Fishbowl?

No, XpandedReports for QuickBooks is not required to use XpandedReports for Fishbowl. The two software applications are separate and they do not interact with each other. Seats for one software product do not apply to or work with the other.

What does XpandedReports cost?

XpandedReports for QuickBooks is billed on a per-seat per-month basis.

XpandedReports for QuickBooks starts at $19.95 per month for one seat (one license).

I want to run XpandedReports on more than one computer. Do I need to purchase more than one license?

You can install XpandedReports on an unlimited number of computers. For example, you might want to run XpandedReports on a desktop and a laptop, or you might have more than one person in your office who wants to run XpandedReports.

XpandedReports operate on a “concurrent use” model. This means that a license (or seat) can be in use on only one computer at a time.

If you want to run XpandedReports on two different computers, but not at the same time, then you only need to purchase one license. In contrast, if you want to run XpandedReports on more than one computer at the same time, then you need to purchase one license for each computer that will be in concurrent use.

What is a license key? What is a client key?

A license key covers an entire account and includes one or more client keys. A client key corresponds to a “seat” and one client key is required for each person who uses XpandedReports at the same time (simultaneous use).

Using a separate client key for each seat helps you identify which specific seats are logged in and which are not.

How do I add another client key?

To add another client key (i.e. another machine to share the number of simultaneous seats on the license key), install the software and then go through the registration process with the email and password associated with the license key.

If you previously installed XpandedReports using an email address that is different than the email address associated with the license key that this installation should be associated with, please call technical support for assistance.

How do I increase or decrease the number of people who can access XR simulataneously?

To remove client keys, visit xpandedreportsservices.com and log into your account. Click on "Installs" and then delete the appropriate client key and the user will no longer have access.

How do I increase or decrease the number of people who can access XR simultaneously?

After logging in, click the “Modify Number of Seats” option on the left side. This will lead you to a screen that shows the number of seats you have currently and provides the option to modify the number of seats you will have for your license going forward. From here, you can add or remove client keys (seats) to change the number of simultaneous users.

XpandedReports will bill you on a prorated basis for any seats you add (or credit you prorated as well for any seats you remove) based on the number of days remaining in the monthly billing cycle.

Each XpandedReports license includes free and unlimited upgrades as each new release of the software becomes available.

How do I change the billing credit card number?

To change your billing credit card or other settings within your account, visit xpandedreportsservices.com and log into your account.

After logging in, click the “Credit Card Info” option on the left side. This will lead you to a form that allows you to edit your credit card information.

I downloaded the trial version and it is asking for a license key. What do I do?

At the top of the license key page, look for the number of days remaining in your trial. If your trial has not yet expired, then you can click the “Skip” button until you are ready to purchase a license.

If your trial has expired, you can click the “Purchase” button to purchase an appropriate license. The purchase process will produce a license code that you will copy and paste into the license key box.
